Staff is great residents are nice it is a caring place
⚠️ URGENT WARNING – Poor Care I am writing this review to strongly caution families considering this facility. What I witnessed was deeply disturbing and unacceptable. A loved one in their care appeared to be neglected, untreated, and not properly cared for. When we arrived: She was lying in bed without proper bedding or a sheet Her skin was extremely dry, flaky, and appeared untreated There were serious concerns that medication was not being administered as prescribed Multiple medication boxes were still unopened, raising major concerns about missed doses She appeared unclean and not properly attended to Personal belongings were missing (including clothing and a shoe) No patient should ever be left in this condition, especially in a facility that is supposed to provide care, dignity, and medical support. This experience raises serious questions about: Staff attentiveness Medication management Basic hygiene and patient dignity Overall safety of residents Families trust these facilities with their loved ones, and what we experienced was a complete breakdown of that trust. Please do your research, ask questions, and advocate strongly for your loved ones. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this facility.
This is a great place and the staff is nice and welcoming.
Delhi is a great place! Staff is friendly, and attentive they go above and beyond for the patients.
The nursing team is compassionate, attentive, and quick to respond to concerns and needs. Thank you!!
Do not, under any circumstances, send your loved ones to this nursing home. The level of neglect I witnessed there was horrifying residents’ basic needs were routinely ignored, and people were left to suffer in filthy, unsafe conditions. The staff were indifferent at best and outright careless at worst, resulting in preventable illness, injury, and far too many deaths. There were a few aids and nurses that did care and were great but unfortunately they cannot be there all the time. This facility is not a place of care it is a danger zone. Choosing this nursing home is risking your loved one’s health, safety, and life. Stay far away.
BEWARE!! ITS BEEN A YEAR SINCE MY MOTHER WAS A LONG TERM RESIDENT HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE NOR TAKE CARE OF ELDERLY PATIENTS. THEY ALMOST KILLED MY MOTHER. MY MOTHER IS A DIABETIC..TYPE 1 AND THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO TAKE CARE OF HER. THEY DIDN’T CHECK HER BLOOD SUGAR AT ANY TIME DURING THE DAY. DIDNT GIVE HER BATHS UNLESS THEY KNEW YOU WERE COMING. NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. THEY LEFT HER IN THE ROOM WITHOUT A TV TO JUST ROT. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND LOOK THE PART. IF THEY KNOW YOUR COMING THEY PUT ON A SHOW. ONCE YOUR GONE THEY DONT CARE. THEY DO NOT HAVE A DIABETIC MENU FOR THEIR RESIDENTS. SHE HAS SLIGHT DEMENTIA AND THEY PLAY ON THAT. IT REEKS OF DIRTY MOPS AND PEE IN THE FACILITY. THEY ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST..YOU WILL GET IGNORED. THE STAFF IS NOT TRAINED AND ARE JUST THERE FOR A CHECK. IT TOOK ME AWHILE TO MAKE THIS POST BECAUSE IVE BEEN TRAUMATIZED FROM WHAT MY MOTHER WENT THROUGH. I WOULDN’T SEND MY LOVE ONE HERE IF YOU TRULY CARE ABOUT THEM. IF THEY KNOW YOU DONT HAVE FAMILY THEY LEAVE YOU TO ROT IN THERE UNTIL YOU DIE. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. THE ARE TERRIBLE. A 3.5 OUT OF 5 IS HORRIBLE. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. THIS IS THE WORST NURSING HOME IN CINCINNATI, HANDS DOWN.
great place
I highly recommend Delhi Post Acute. The staff is so caring and dedicated to making sure every need is met with a smile.
I cannot say enough good things about Delhi Post Acute! They go above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels comfortable!
The staff is amazing there. The therapy team is A one! Everyone makes you feel comfortable and right at home!
Worst facility I could have ever sent my mom to! The bugs in this place are everywhere, the nurses on the 5th floor don’t care about anything, turn call lights off and tells their patients they will help them when “they get time” I leave messages for the case manager and she NEVER follows up on the issues I take to her! Can never get a call back from the DON or ADON! Just save yourself the hassle and take your loved ones somewhere else you won’t regret it!
Thank you for taking great care of my Grandpa during his short stay there.
Thank you to Delhi Post Acute for taking great care of my Grandfather while he was a resident. I highly recommend this amazing facility. They have many kind, professional, and caring staff members. They kept the place very clean and they kept my Grandpa very comfortable and happy. I will forever be grateful for all that DPA did in his time of need.
Exceptional patient care. They did an amazing job taking care of my dad during his most difficult time. You can tell right away that the amazing staff really cares and they take pride in what they do. I very highly recommend 👍🏼👍🏼
Would give no stars if I could. Came there for a Halloween event and can’t believe I brought my kids into this place. Nice gesture but it’s so dirty and gross especially the 1st floor. It smelled horrid. The patients looked miserable , they mistreat not only the hard workers but also the patients. Check on your loved ones if they are here bc they’re not okay.
You know they say first impression could be your last impression? Well, my first impression of this place is it’s very dirty. They need to shut it down remodel and reopen it. My mother is a patient here and she constantly expressed to me. The lack of care that she gets. I’ve met some of the staff. If you wanna judge by face value, they seem nice however I can’t do nothing but trust my mother when she tell me that it’s otherwise, I must find a new facility for my mother because this is not acceptable at all
My father 81 yr old with mild dementia, he knew everyone, and called home all the time , was a smoker that was allowed to go out and smoke,I’d pick him up every 3 weeks or so and get his groceries, so he wasn’t like a dementia patient, was there got all the attention in the world the first months he was there, new workers just rotated in and out, me and my family spent most of our time during visits cleaning the room the entire time, for the 3 years he was there, a healthy 84 year old man who walked 20 miles a day before he went into the nursing home he stayed there since 2021 until they got tired of him, and put him on hospice and killed him within 6 weeks he was dead with hospice after they gave him 6 months , he lost 75 pounds in 6 weeks they starved him and medicated him so much he couldn’t walk or barely breathe if you love your family pick somewhere else PLEASE do not pick this place knowing what I know now I wouldn’t even put a dog in there!!!!! We put a camera in his room and they would move it every time they came in or they would put a curtain over the camera or throw a towel over it and they would take him to other people’s room to sleep away from his camera, they stole everything my poor dad had they stole his snacks , his watches that he loved his cowboy hats , a really nice gold chain a silver chain, he had 17 packs of Marlboro left and no one could find them, everyone said mary put them up , this place is SICK and dirty and they’re all sneaky and terrible people PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY!!!!!! My dad was the most kindest meak person you could ever meet, I hate these people at Delhi for what they did, and I hate that i didn’t know or see what was happening and let them kill my dad , just do a walk through yourself b4 you put your loved one in this mess of a place Delhi post acute , should be closed down for a long list of reasons filth , and neglect and incompetence, the last 2 pictures in the blue shirts 👕 are 6 weeks time , and b4 that he was walking around, going out to smoke and playing his harmonica, please be aware of this place and just know they put the charm on when family members are coming, put you a 20 dollar camera in your loved ones room no matter were they are if your dependent on someone else taking care of them, only thing at delhi , there not supposed to touch your camera, so they put curtains or towels on them, and won’t answer there phones or messages, that’s another thing they will not answer phones on 1 st floor, I’ve called and left messages for days with no one calling back, that could be a nice facility, but the 1 st floor needs new workers, how they get by with all they get by with is beyond me, the place is beyond nasty , for most part the workers are lazy , dad had 3 or 4 people there that he liked and was really patient and kind Alesha and her sister and a couple more , this place is really bad , just check it out for yourself, should be new employees for everyone responsible for patients care , medication 💊 cleaning and sanitation, maintenance is a joke on 1 st floor I don’t know about the other floors there , but they are under same administration so go figure,
